Nike's tribute to one of the Netherlands' biggest celebrations — Koningsdag, the Dutch king's birthday, when the whole country floods the streets in orange. This Air Max 1 bottles that energy in a warm palette of cacao brown, bright mandarin, and amber, striking a balance between festive and refined.
The build is premium top to bottom: a mesh base layered with leather, suede, and tumbled leather overlays, plus canvas and woodgrain-patterned accents on the heel — a nod to the boats packing Amsterdam's canals on the day itself. Bright orange lands on the Swoosh, laces, and branding, while rich browns ground the whole look. Little extras set it apart too: velcro tongue tags, leather-lined interiors, and a hidden pocket tucked into the tongue.
Underneath it's all classic Air Max 1 — visible Air unit, brown midsole, waffle rubber outsole. A European-market favourite that's tough to get and always turns heads. Comes with two sets of laces.
