One of the cleanest 9060s New Balance has put out. This one keeps it all-neutral — a soft cream mesh base layered with textured grey suede overlays that wrap from the toe all the way to the heel, giving the shoe real depth and that hairy-suede premium feel in hand.
The 9060 itself is New Balance's chunky Y2K flagship — a warped, futuristic reinterpretation of the classic 99X running DNA, with a bulky ABZORB midsole and wavy paneling for that unmistakable "dad-shoe done right" silhouette. Here, cream leather hits on the "N" logo, heel tab, and laces tie into the mesh, while all the grey and cream tones blend together across the sole unit for a fully cohesive, monochrome look.
The best part is how easy it is to wear. This grey-and-cream palette goes with literally everything — denim, cargos, neutrals, tailoring — and the muted tones keep it looking expensive rather than loud. Comfortable enough for all-day, sharp enough to build a fit around.
