A Boston-boutique collab built to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1, and it doesn't hold back. The "Mellow" pulls straight from late-'60s and '70s music-festival culture — think Summer of Love, denim, and psychedelia. The upper stacks a wild mix of materials: bleached denim, paisley and bandana prints, ripstop canvas, and even cow-print faux fur, with a rich red velour tongue tying it together.
The name comes from the olive/oil-green mudguard that grounds all the chaos, sitting on a speckled midsole and gum outsole for that vintage finish. Two mismatched Swooshes run the sides — one of them an embroidered "flower power" floral hit — plus distressed NIKE heel branding and a custom guitar-pick hangtag for the full period feel.
Best part: the print patterns vary pair to pair, so no two are exactly the same — the one you get is genuinely one of a kind. A collector's Air Max 1 for anyone who wants their kicks to actually say something.
